Hercules 15420 Pro Dope Thread Sealant

A versatile thread sealant for use on black iron, galvanized steel, copper, brass and aluminum pipe and fittings. Can be used on lines carrying natural gas, air, steam, hydronic heating, ammonia, brine, diluted acids and sprinkler systems. Pro Dope will not drip, is lead free, non-toxic and won't spill. It is non-separating and provides a tight, positive, leak free seal. Pro Dope prevents rust and inhibits corrosion by forming a protective coating on threads. It is non-hardening and joints can be disassembled without damage to pipe fittings or threads. Pro Dope is easily applied with a natural bristle brush in temperatures as low as-15��F and performs over a temperature range of 0��F to +350��F. Pressure rated to 250 psi for liquids and 200 psi for air/steam. Pro Dope is a gray colored thread sealant which contains no lead.
